White Wine Butter Garlic Sauce

IMG_5105-1024x764I love, love, love this sauce!  It’s delicious and goes with just about anything you can think of… seafood, chicken, fish, or just with noodles (my favorite).

I’m a garlic freak, so make sure the amount of garlic you use works for your pallate 🙂

Fresh garlic works best, but I use the jarred minced garlic to save time.

2 tbsp butter

2 – 3 cloves garlic minced (or tbsp of pre-minced garlic)

1/3 cup white wine

1/3 cup chopped parsley

Grated Parmesan cheese

Optional Variations: 1 tsp lemon juice and/or 1/4 cup heavy cream

In a medium sauce pan, melt butter over medium heat, add garlic and cook for about 5 – 7 minutes or until done.

Add white wine and simmer until hot.

When you are ready to add the pasta (if that’s what you’re making, of course – could be seafood, muscles, or fish too), pour sauce over cooked noodles.  Add Parmesan cheese and parsley, tossing to coat evenly.

***If you want to make this a creamy sauce, then add the heavy cream before pouring over pasta or main dish.  Below is a picture of a huge lobster I bought at Sam’s.  I used this sauce over the top of it and it was delicious!***
