Swiffer – Marry Me, Please

swiffer_wetjet    swiffer2    swiffer

I am totally not ashamed to admit that I am a Swiffer junkie.  If Swiffer makes it, I buy it.  I cannot live without the Swiffer Sweeper Vac (far right), and then I go right over the freshly vacuumed floor with the Wet Jet (far left).  The Sweeper Vac is cordless, picks up dust bunnies, crumbs, etc. while the Sweeper pads trap the remaining dirt and dust the vacuum missed.  The Duster is a God send (center).  I can dust my entire house in about 15 minutes.

The other thing I love about Swiffer is that they partner with other awesome cleaning brands like Mr. Clean (Wet Jet Pads) and Febreze (Wet Jet, Sweeper pads, Dusters).  Both Mr. Clean and Febreze are likewise on my Clean House essentials below.

My home is 99% tile and hardwood floor so these products are absolutely perfect and work like a charm.

Mr. Clean – Magic Erasers

If you haven’t used a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, you really need to crawl out of whatever old-fashioned hole you are living in and BUY ONE.  It’s really that simple.  I use them to clean EVERYTHING, walls, sink, toilet, stains, you name it.  What used to take me heavy scrubbing, now is as fast as a few swipes.  The generic brand aren’t that bad either, but Mr. Clean is still the best in my opinion.

Febreze

Ok, folks.  I have a 17 year old teenage boy and a 14 year old teenage girl.  Febreze is a MUST in my household.  Teenagers aside, I also have a dog and 2 sugar gliders and I don’t care how clean your house is… stink happens.  My husband suffers from allergies so I use the Febreze Fabric Refresher with allergen reducers, the air freshener sprays (especially the seasonal scents during the holidays), and I also use the Febreze plug-ins in the entry way of our home, and in the office where the sugar glider cage is.  There are so many different scents and it really does the trick to get rid of odors fast.
